Job Description:
  • We are seeking a proactive and articulate Customer Service Officer to join our Communications Department.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for crafting clear, compelling messaging around our solar energy solutions while delivering excellent customer support.
  • You’ll play a key part in communicating our mission, supporting customer engagement, and reinforcing our brand as a leader in clean energy.

Specific Responsibilities
Customer Support:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and chats.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and empathetic responses to client questions and concerns.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Follow up with sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to gauge satisfaction and encourage feedback/testimonials.

Departmental Support:

  • Support the implementation of communication strategies that promote our brand, customer success stories, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist with creating and editing marketing collateral, sales materials, and web content that reflect our voice and values.
  • Close sales from contacts generated through Ads
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather product updates, customer testimonials, and field content to share across channels.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issues on the drive for management review.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on customer inquiries, resolutions, and feedback.

Google Suite Proficiency:

  • Utilize Google Word and Sheet to create and manage documents, reports, and spreadsheets efficiently.

Problem Solving:

  • Employ excellent problem-solving skills to address customer issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary.
  • Remain calm and effective under pressure, demonstrating a quick learning ability.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a customer service or marketing communications role.

  • As part of a forward-thinking solar renewable energy company, you will play a key role in educating, engaging, and inspiring our audience through compelling social media content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company’s mission and brand voice.
  • Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and TikTok, with a focus on clean energy education, Product/Brand visibility, project highlights, and community impact.
  • Work closely with the technical and sales teams to translate complex solar solutions into simple, engaging posts for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Monitor conversations, respond to inquiries, and actively engage with followers to build a strong online community.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends for opportunities and threats.
  • Track performance metrics and generate reports to evaluate ROI and optimize future campaigns.
  • Stay informed about trends in renewable energy, sustainability, and digital marketing.
  • Support content creation for campaigns, partnerships, and events, including visual assets and short videos.
  • Support crisis communication and reputation management on digital channels when needed.
  • Assist with managing paid ads and boosting key content as needed.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing professional social media accounts.
  • Strong storytelling and copywriting skills, especially around sustainability and innovation.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
  • Familiarity with solar energy or renewable energy concepts is a strong advantage.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for visual content and trends.
  • Data-driven with the ability to interpret analytics and adjust strategies.
  • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
  • Understanding of graphic design principles
  • Any professional certifications would be an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a mission-driven or sustainability-focused organization.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Understanding of environmental issues and climate change communication.
